At Groningen Airport Eelde, you can get something to eat or drink both before and after security.
Before security, you are very welcome at the Airport Bistro. The Bistro is open to everyone. After security, the facilities are only accessible to passengers.
Before security: Airport Bistro
You will find the Airport Bistro in the terminal: a welcoming place for anyone who wants to enjoy the airport atmosphere, even if you are not travelling yourself. Drop by for lunch, a cup of coffee, an ice cream or simply to sit down and relax.
The menu includes generously filled sandwiches, flammkuchen, soup of the day and a variety of snacks and drinks, with meat, fish and vegetarian options.
This makes the Airport Bistro a great place for travellers looking to start their journey at ease, as well as for people seeing someone off or picking someone up, students, employees and other airport visitors.
You can also order food and drinks to take away. Pick up a coffee, sandwich or ice cream at the Airport Bistro and take it with you to the observation terrace, which is easily accessible from the Bistro.
The Airport Bistro is open every weekday from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. In addition, the Bistro opens two hours before every arriving flight and three hours before every departing flight. Outside the Bistro’s opening hours, soft drinks, snacks and a selection of travel essentials are available from the vending machine.
Groups can book breakfast or lunch in advance via bistro@airportshop.nl.
After security
After security, you can visit the Airportshop. Here you will find coffee, tea, soft drinks and a limited selection of food. Magazines, newspapers and small travel essentials are also available.
The Airportshop is open from half an hour before the first flight until half an hour after the last flight.
