Hand luggage
As a rule, each passenger is allowed to take one piece of hand luggage on board. Carry-on luggage may not be larger than 55 x 40 x 30 cm (l x w x h). Always check this with your airline. Also, you are allowed to take a magazine, coat, handbag or similar personal item.
Checked luggage
Each passenger is allowed a maximum of 20 kg of checked luggage. Additional luggage over this weight limit can be accepted, at the discretion of the airline. In general, the maximum allowance is specified on the ticket. An excess-luggage fee of € 9 per kg may be charged, again at the discretion of the airline. The airline always has the option to refuse extra luggage over 20 kg total. Dutch health and safety laws require that airlines to refuse any single piece of luggage weighing more than 32 kg. There are also limits to the weight and size of hand luggage.
To prevent problems with regard to the luggage regulations, we advise you to consult your travel agent or airline representative for more information.
